Carol Forbes is a Television Production teacher teacher at Orange High School. She also teaches a Creative Writing class for Theater Workshop Peppermint Players in South Orange, New Jersey and an online screening class for Perelandra College.  Ms. Forbes has B.A. in Visual Arts from Rutgers University and an MFA in Film from Columbia University’s, School of the Arts.  She has won several writing awards including Bill Cosby’s Guy Hank and Marvin Miller Writing fellowship.

Ms Forbes has written several screenplays and television pilots in addition to several animated feature screenplays for Santoon Productions.  “Light of Olympia” which she was a contributing writer premiered at the Beijing Olympics.  She has had her writing published in several anthologies.  She’s also the creator of TeenGirlsThatWrite, blog for aspiring teen writers.
